Dr. Sean Foss
Dr. Sean Foss is a Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist who treats chronic illnesses with an individualized approach, tailored to each patient’s needs and abilities. Techniques such as herbal medicine, diet and lifestyle modification, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, homeopathy, and mind-body medicine, coupled with diagnostic analytical testing are all utilized to provide a path to wellness. His earlier experiences in scientific research and Eastern medicine, give him a unique perspective that provides an excellent foundation for treating the increasing complexities of chronic illness that we now face. Most importantly, Dr. Foss has an intense desire to help patients remove their obstacles to healing and restore their quality of life by using the least invasive methods possible.
He received his doctorate of naturopathic medicine from the University of Bridgeport’s (UB) Naturopathic College of Medicine in Bridgeport, Connecticut. At the same time, he obtained a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture from UB. After graduating with his doctorate, Dr. Foss completed a residency with Dr. Peter D’Adamo at the Center of Excellence. In this residency training he focused on individualized nutritional and epigenetic therapies.
Prior to his naturopathic education, Dr. Foss completed a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering and biotech at the University of Massachusetts North Dartmouth and worked as a research biologist focusing on public health related contamination of microbiological pathogens. He has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and has spoken on various medical topics to both professional and general audiences. Dr. Foss also shares his time at Entire Health and Wellness/Lyme Awareness of Cape Cod, treating Lyme Disease and related coinfections as well as many other challenging chronic conditions.
